Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

LOOK AT ME, I'M ON THE MOON!

Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchfford and 2K Australia general manager Tony Lawrence have teamed up to bring us the next installment in the Borderlands series.

This will be taking place on the Hyperion Corporation Moon Base as you fight along with Handsome Jack. This is a first-person loot & shoot role playing game and as you tell by the title it will be taking place as not a prequel and not a sequel but a Pre-sequel. The time line will be during the rise of Handsome Jack before Borderlands 2 and after Borderlands 1

There will be 4 new playable character classes to choose from

- Athena, the Gladiator: Uses her Kinetic Aspis, which is a shield that can absorb incoming damage, then convert it back into energy to use against enemies. Athena made her debut in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC for the first Borderlands game.
- Wilhelm, the Enforcer: Wilhelm was previously seen in Borderlands 2 as one of the first deadly bosses in the game.
- Nisha, the Lawbringer: The sheriff of Lynchwood from Borderlands 2, Nisha will be dealing out her own brand of justice, which we'll discuss further in the coming months.
- Claptrap, the Fragtrap: Wait - Claptrap? The goofy robot companion from Borderlands 2, now playable for the first time? Fragtrap is his character class? Well, you can play him too!

Some of the new gameplay elements shown in the video here we will obviously be on the moon so that means no gravity and that means floating around with jet packs and having an awesome time.
We will also be introduced to a new special attack which is like a ground pound, when you are in the air you can come down fast and pound an enemy into the ground like the Mario Brothers.
Also I cant forget to mention the 2 new element types that are being showed in the trailer, Ice & Laser. Thats right we will now have ICE this is really awesome, sure we will have lasers too which will most likely cause fire damage and have the same effect on enemies as fire BUT ICE. We can now shoot an enemy which will freeze them and then attack them with out new ground pound as they smash into little pieces. AWESOME!

Well anyway this is just my introduction into the new Borderlands game "The Pre-Sequel" This will be coming out for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC with a release date of sometime this fall.

Story:

Gameplay:

The gameplay of God of War: Ascension is similar to that of the previous titles. It is a third-person single player game with a fixed camera perspective. You play as Kratos in this combo-based combat, platforming, and puzzle game. Kratos is guided through various environments while fighting enemies.

This new God of War: Ascension contains new gameplay mechanics such as the "Mini-Games" while in battle with bigger enemies, when you go in for a final kill, certain enemies will continue their attacks while you must still try to evade and attack in real time.
