"Experiment: There may be confidential content in your search results. Please do not share outside Google."
This is the recent buzz going around with YouTube and Google, but what could it be?
So I went onto Youtube as I normally do after work and I tried to do a search and come to find out this red banner (see image below) shows up reading "Experiment: There may be confidential content in your search results. Please do not share outside Google." So I wonder what could this be? Has Youtube/Google been hacked?
If you goto Youtube and try to search for anything you will notice the address bar at the top as what appears to be more then the standard information. it appears to be a allot of extra coding in the link but what is it?
I tried to inspect the elements of the page and found no results of why this is even happening, and with some searching online nothing comes up but allot of rumors.
I would say this is either some way for google to do as it says an "Experiment' too see how fast they can make something go viral using nothing but a banner on top of a youtube search page. As this is normally where things are promoted with-in youtube like the recent concert events. They may be doing tests.
I would still not suggest sharing the links it creates as they do seem different and hold more information then normal. Either way I would like to see what everyone else thinks about this and what it could be?
